I'm trying to tweak the address bar on my #Vivaldi browser on #Solus #Linux. I just wanted to add a search bar and remove some spacers but every time I remove a spacer, it starts to delete other items off of the address bar. Frustrating as all get out. Reminds me why I stopped using Mate DE.

I'm using #conversations_im on android, but want to add someone on my server who exists in the apple world

Installing Fedora again because I got a new drive and that seems quicker than figuring out how to clone a LUKS encrypted drive. All the important stuff is probably in the cloud or git or something.

Theoretically this drive is almost twice as fast as the old, already fast, disk. I didn't know they'd been making such progress on the storage front.

Seeing a lot of folks take Google setting their own #PQC migration timeline to 2029 as somehow irrefutable evidence that "Qday" is around the corner.

I remain skeptical: they don't point at any new breakthroughs or research; moving to ML-DSA for code signing (with long lived trust anchors) makes sense already.
